Getting ready for the big family holiday dinner is always fun. This year, we decided to host it seeing it would be easier with 2 little kids. It’s potluck style and we are making the stuffed turkey, stuffing and a vegetarian entree. I decided to try making a vegetarian Wellington with rice, mushrooms and celery. As tradition dictates, we make the best garlic maple acorn squash.
I cannot wait to sit and eat together and catch up with everyone as it has been a while. Besides, mom is coming. I cant believe it since she NEVER comes to any get together. I am just glad she is.
